Areca Palm Spoons and plates are naturally made from areca palm leaves. These are biodegradable, eco-friendly and also manufactured through an environment friendly process.

The Areca Palm products are made directly from the (already) fallen leaves of the Areca Palm Trees.These leaves are then cleaned, stretched, and pressed by hand. They will then be molded into different shapes through a heat process.

Areca Palm products are a great sustainable alternative compared to plastic and wood products. They decompose within 6-8 weeks and the environment is not harmed in the manufacturing process.

Plastic products take up to 1000 years to decompose and they inevitably end up in our oceans. In one single day we use up to 100 million plastic utensils. Over the year that number adds up to 40 Billion plastic products thrown away. Plastic products also include many harmful chemicals such as polypropylene and polystyrene.

Wooden products may be biodegradable but the manufactural process can be harmful to the environment. In the process of making wooden utensils many trees are harmed and cut down.
